Starbucks: The Way I See It

Cute quote off of a Starbuck's cup - this is one of their "The Way I See It" quotes that they always have on their cups:

Childhood is a strange country. It's a place you come from or go to - at least in your mind. For me it has an endless, spellbound something in it that feels remote. It's like a little sealed-vault country of cake breath and grass stains where what you do instead of work is spin until you're dizzy.
- Lyall Bush

This quote just made me think of good times and spinning around in a field on a sunny day feeling like a kid again.

And speaking of Starbucks - what a great move on their part creating a time to focus on improving their "art of espresso." If you haven't heard yet - Starbucks is closing today to re-train all their employees to make coffee...etc. whatever else... "The Way I See It" is I think this is such a great Public Relations move. And I think Starbucks really needed something like this - because honestly, like I read in an article about Starbucks earlier, I agree that not all Starbucks baristas are good and it is always a bad day to get a specialty drink from them that just wasn't made right. This was a smart and necessary move for Starbucks.
